It’s very easy to get into routines with your spouse. You notice little things like how they dress, what they wear, jewelry, etc. Check if your spouse is still wearing their wedding band when they go to work in the morning. Not wearing a wedding band is like a billboard to tell people they they are available on the market. If you see your spouse not wearing a wedding band – they may be cheating.

Cheaters will often use work as an excuse to be out of the house. They may pretend to be at work when they are cheating. They may use vacation days or personal days to sneak off to have dates. If you notice that your spouse doesn’t have enough vacation time during the holidays, but you can’t remember any holiday that they have taken, there may be something fishy going on.

This is most likely a sign of someone cheating with a coworker. It’s normal for a coworker to call from time to time. Even more so if they are calling for something work related. However, if you find that your partner is constantly talking to a coworker, and those calls are happening late at night, then there’s something up. Remember that your time in the evenings is “family time”. If you find that someone of the opposite sex is suddenly taking up that time, then there’s something wrong.

Has your loved one stopped mentioning their bonuses? It’s possible that they are either stashing that money to use for themselves or worse, to spend on their secret lover.

Being busy is the #1 excuse for people cheating at work. Cheaters will often change their schedule to start and end work all hours of the day. They may even claim to be working on weekends. Be aware of regular late night working sessions as well as random weekend work. If your significant other is behaving suspiciously and now works odd hours, they may be doing this to deflect suspicion from the times when they are cheating on you.

If your spouse travels for business – it’s normal for you to know where they are traveling to. Often they will be traveling between two cities where their company has an office. For example, between the NY office and the LA office. However, if your company has no such offices, and your spouse doesn’t have clients in certain cities, but they are always traveling to those same destinations there may be something suspicious going on. Also – if they can’t explain why they are going or the trips have erratic dates (such as weekend trips), they may be traveling to cheat on you.

If you notice that your spouse’s coworkers have started to act strange around you  - you should be concerned. If they struggle to make eye contact or no longer try to engage in conversation, it may be because they know your significant other is cheating. This is also a sign that the person that they are cheating with most likely works with them. While a lot of people have a don’t ask – don’t tell policy, their conscience may make them feel guilty when they have to face you!

When you are in a serious relationship / marriage it is normal to be invited to accompany your significant other to events at their jobs. You should expect to be invited to company holiday parties, company games, and family days. If you were originally invited to such events but no longer receive these invitations something may be amiss. Your cheating partner may be interested in spending more time with the person they are cheating with at work. They may just not want to spend any more time with you than what they have to in order to maintain the relationship.

Any person who works needs to decompress from their work stressors. If you were in a relationship and your lover would share tales of their work days with you, but suddenly isn’t interested in talking about work at all – something might be going on. Often if someone is cheating with a coworker, they will want to avoid talking about work. This will prevent them from accidentally putting too much emphasis on their secret lover. If your partner has never discussed work, then this might not be a sign.

Do you call you lover at work, but lately can’t locate them? Does the secretary hesitate to tell you where your significant other is? Your lover might claim that they are always busy, but keep in mind that being out of communication in an office is generally not a positive thing. Also, be very wary if you call at random times but can never reach your significant other. Also be concerned if they refuse to give you their direct line.
